Daniel Rome is a Missouri native and he graduated from The University of Missouri with honors in biochemistry and a minor in medicinal chemistry. His passion for dentistry led him to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2010. He immediately moved to Brooklyn, NY and completed a yearlong general practice residency at New York Methodist Hospital, an affiliate of Weill-Cornell. This extra year allowed him to treat complex surgical cases in implant placement and provide comprehensive dental care to medically compromised patients. The hospital dental faculty awarded him the top resident award for outstanding achievement in clinical dentistry.
Dr. Rome has earned scholar status with the Dawson academy for advanced dental education in St. Petersburg, FL. This advanced training allows for diagnosing and treating complex cosmetic cases, TMJ disorders, bite related disorders, and orofacial pain.
In 2015, he was awarded fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). This award is given to a small percentage of dentists who have taken an extensive amount of continuing education. Daniel consistently completes over 100 hours of continuing education per year both domestically and internationally.
Outside of dentistry, some of Daniel's hobbies include traveling the world, spending time outdoors, playing tennis, and supporting local animal shelters. Recently, he has taken up home and property renovation which is very fitting since he loves to use his hands.
Dr. Rome is happy to be back home in the Midwest after practicing dentistry in New York, California, and Virginia. He looks forward to providing thorough comprehensive dental care to Kansas City and surrounding areas.
